Its no good blaming one member of staff simply because they were mentioned at the time.

I think individual staff should PM the member of the forum they have banned, gave an infraction or warning to, and explain what action they have done and why. Not hide behind the TiBB Staff "I have banned you and have a nice day" account.

Mind you it is very Big Brother, hiding behind a screen of anonymity.

I didn't like this idea of making the infraction givers anonymous and I still don't. I know the mods, particularly Vicky were having some issues with people being abusive when they got an infraction, but couldn't that simply be remedied by giving them an automatic ban if they behave that way or extending their ban?

Now we have an even worse situation where people are just speculating or pointing the finger. The mods have effectively been made unaccountable with this TiBB staff account. Do the admin even know who hands out which infraction/warning and where?
