Not faith, I just know how it works. They wouldn't risk a scandal that could damage them after having their knuckles rapped earlier in the same series.

For your BB example it was only really BB7 that had that scandal, they learnt from their mistakes and they didn't dare risk it again intentionally. With so many headlines about Cher's health, they couldn't exactly feign ignorance if those stories had a grain of truth to them. they really wouldn't risk such backlash over one contestant.
