My dog growls and sometimes the hair on her back goes up too as if she can see or sense something, I get a bit freaked out if im in the house alone and she does it.

When I was younger I use to stay with my sister a lot my nephew who was 3 at the time use to talk to someone when no one else was in the room with him, if any of us asked him who he was talking to, he would say "the man with the black hat", that used to terrify me
