2.Its a question of having dealt with drama putting it to the side and moving on, life is exactly the same, you will become embittered if you always dwell on past battles and view everyone with suspicion.

3.Look at the circumstances of those infractions.

What else can people do if they cant see Mods active on the forum? They know some mods are there but because the mods are "invisible" ro non staff they cant PM so they get fustrated and feel they have to post on the forum.

4.Yes I think you are misreading the forum, there may be less of those you view as troublemakers posting on the forums. The cliques are still there, it may just be because one of the group of cliques has staff as members.

Lets face it there were members on here accusing another member of what is classed as an international crime, yet mods just stood by and watched, yes I know the member was warned he even posted how he had only been warned. Just like a couple of nights ago another member even stated that people had deliberately ganged up against someone who recently copped for a ban.

Funny how that comment and a few others were deleted, but not by the member posting it, aint it. Of course there is no conspiracy but lets face it staff here dont like to be questioed or challenged on their decisions do they, thats at least an infraction isnt it?
1. People HARDLY ever talk to us, I'll take the time to try and sort out any problems but people would rather have a bitch on the forums then actually sort the problems out. I rarely get any PMs from members sicne they'll go straight to the 'raging about it in the forums' stage. That's my view and 9 times out of 10 it's pretty much the truth. Audiences aren't needed to sort out the kind of problems people complain about on the forums and we can't actually unfairly punish anyone as all our actions are posted in the Towers automatically. I've said this so many times but of course people won't actually pay attention to it sicne they can't let go of a reason to bitch.

2. I wouldn't say i'm bitter at all, In the past I've had big arguments with people on the forums and the next minute I've helped them with mod business as if nothing has happened. Dezzy as a member and Dezzy as a mod are two different things. I don't hold onto any problems I have with people as a mod, I'll admit lately I've been harsher with people as a mod but if I'm honest I was too much of a soft touch in the past anyway. That being said I'll always have time for the people who PM me.

3. I rarely pay attention to whether someone's online or not as they'll answer a PM eventually anyway. Impatience isn't a valid reason to break a rule.

4. At the end of the day the quantity of reports are always a good way to gauge the mood of the forum and the past few days have seen the least I've ever seen while being a mod on this site. Aside from the one or two threads the place has calmed down considerably by the large.

I'm not quite sure about these incidents you've mentioned, it's all a bit vague but I'm guessing I wasn't logged on when they happened.

As for your last point, I love to be challenged, it keeps me on my toes as a moderator but there's a place to do that and it's over PM. If people really want to talk to me about something they can do it there and I'll always be full & frank with them. Of course like I said before a fair few members would rather have an audience to perform to rather then actually sort out the problem at hand.
