I dont think thats the point of it. One of my friends uses them...I remembered her posting something on FB about a mooncup a while back, so when turtle started that thread...I checked back over her statuses...and apparently her reason for using one is that it is cheaper in the long run than buying tampons ..apparently its more hygienic too...though i dont see how that can be
