“I don’t know who will win. It could be Matt but I wouldn’t like him to win. All I know is that he doesn’t talk to anybody and that he was in the papers for saying that Katie Waissel was an attention-seeking wh*re.

“I asked Matt if he had said that and he said he had. I thought, ‘Oh this guy is immature and he is nasty.
Gentlemanly Wagner, who politely covers his mouth every time he coughs, will not swear when a woman is present, preferring to spell the words instead.

He reported: “Then I found out Matt was saying to the papers I was an ‘effing joke’. He said I was ‘Ess-Aitch-Eye-Tee’. I said, ‘Matt, what are you trying to say?’ He said the word ‘eff’ so many times.

“I said to him, ‘Okay, you’re entitled to your opinion. What a good opinion you have about yourself. You think you are some kind of Pavarotti but you don’t even sing like a man.
“You sing like a baby screaming to have its nappy changed’. He was shocked but he carried on swearing and then left.”

Matt's going to ruin his chances of winning. He seems a tad arrogant. He is not the most likeable person really. If he layed down low and didn't sell stories to the papers he would have a bigger chance of winning. Now someone boring like Rebecca who has had her head down and got on with it may just pass him at the finishing post.

Have to say Wagner did a better version of "You got the Love" at Louis' house than Matt's on Sat nite.He was awful.Does'nt matter if you've had a sore throat-you should be judged on the night's performance.And that should've seen this charisma-free zone out on his ear.

From what Ive read of Matt he does sound a bit like a twat when he wants to be, then on stage acts like a shy guy. Hmmmmm. Hes got talent but if his attitude really is like this he'll get nowhere...

Good to see Wag standing up for himself, yeah he couldnt really sing but hes still a person, and comes across as a really likable 1 at that! Although the whole Chloe bedding :S

Matt runs the risk of going down the Brookstein road of having ideas above his station and shooting himself in the foot. Also I don't see (having read previous comments) how Wagner's singing ability has any bearing on his opinion of someone else's singing, we all have valid opinions and judgments!
