No! Confirmation is a Catholic thing. When your 12-15 you can get confirmed into the Catholic church for life. You have to go to classes for it and everything aswell as prove you go to church on a regular basis. Oh ad you have to pick a Saint to confirm under and everything.

My best mate is getting confirmed but I feel sorry for her because she's kinda being pushed into it by her family. :/ As for me I cba with it. Oh and I have about a billion problems with the Catholic church..

It's a load of sh1te basically, practically everyone in Ireland is catholic and most of the schools are catholic so you just do it cos everyone else does, you don't have to prove you go to mass btw! I don't consider myself catholic now though, I never chose it and don't believe any of it
