Asa Scot I can tell you that foreigners change instantly towards you when they find out you are Scottis and not English.

And yet... I've travelled quite extensively, worked in several countries and I have made lifelong friends all over the world. Funny isn't it, people's perceptions. As a Scot, you perceive that everyone in the world dislikes the English (except you, obviously...) and yet my findings have been very different. The one place in the world where I felt threatened was Glasgow, funnily enough.
