![]() A = Golan Heights B = West Bank C = Gaza Strip 1 = Northern 2 = Haifa 3 = Central 4 = Tel Aviv 5 = Jerusalem 6 = Southern Both sides need to compromise. Here is how I would resolve it. Palestine would be the entire West Bank, Golan Heights and Northern District. Israel would not like giving up Northern District but they need to compromise and engage in land swaps. Some could argue they not entitled to ANY part of Palestine, so they should not be so hardline. Israel would be Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Central and Southern and Gaza. Jerusalem is contested by both sides, but it should be the capital of Israel. It has religious significance to all 3 abraham religions but muslims have Mecca, Medina and other holy places already. Jews have none. All the Palestine refugees would be resettled in the new Palestine and Israelis be resettled within Israel. Further to this, the US and especially rich Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE should invest millions into developing a new coastal capital city between Haifa and Lebanon for the Palestinians. Look at Dubai and all these mega cities for inspiration and see it is more than possible. This is more than fair compromise in my opinion. I really believe the Palestinians would accept it, but I do not think Jews would. There in lies the problem. |
