I know but everytime I watch it's just a bunch of 80 year old people going "Oh Vera, I say" or something like that.

And the tram crash was so cringeworthy and fake.

Vera died like...4 years ago....and Fred who says "I say" died six years ago

Also, the tram crash was a Hollywood-esque stunt done on a British soap...did you expect the train crash from Batman Begins or something? lmao

Well to be fair I haven't watched it religiously in about 7 years. And I'm only 13. That's quite worrying that I was addicted to Corrie at age 6. :-|

But whenever I watch now it's just boring. I loved Tracey though, but then she got arrested so I stopped watching again.

Of course not but I was expecting so much more. Other soaps manage it.

The worst part was that my girlfriend was crying her eyes out watching it and I sat there laughing.

Well to be honest, it was about the characters, so if you didn't really follow the show before then, you're not going to care about the characters

Do they? I don't remember any other soap doing a stunt that big.

Fine, smaller things than that. But they still look good and they're much more effective, even if it isn't as big and expensive. I just mean like car crashes and fires, they all look so realistic.

but usually with car crashes, there's no real lasting effect, the tram crash had a massive effect on the street

Also with Corrie producing brilliant online drama's like Gary's Army Diaries, they showed they're not behind the times
