it's called general chat. That's what it is..... chat, with much of it tongue in cheek - hence the reason it's under 'General Chat' and not 'Serious Debates'.

I went out for dinner and had steak, potatoes, roasties and veg.

Our eating pattern is:

Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Supper

Tea is a cup of tea, not a meal.

Methinks the Scots may have the same terms for meals. Far as I can see, southerners refer to Tea as being when they eat something.
