It could have happened anywhere. But no matter where it happened, for her to hide it for 9 months, she obviously didn't feel she could come to her parents, or know enuf to figure how to prevent pregnancy to begin with.

Al of these things could be prevented with good parenting. Teaching her about contraception, or abortion.
