Perhaps when you enter a discussion next time that is similar in nature to this one: you might want to familiarise yourself with the laws of the UK. You may not agree with them, but at least try to understand the reason why they exist in the first place.
I get why they exist. I just don't see what they accomplish.

They accomplish what has been explained to you several times over in this thread already. There is no point in people having to repeat the same thing over and over again.

Duvious?

She may, she may not. One thing is certain. Without this happening to her, she most certainly would not.

Now this has happened to her; she may realise the impact it may have on her, her family, her friends, her working life etc. There is more chance it will, more chance that it will make her think twice in future, than if no action had been taken against her.

She absolutely won't change her views on minorities because of some prison time. If anything, I think it will reinforce in her mind that laws are being catered to minorities. And like I've speculated in earlier posts, she sounds either drugged or drunk. If she gets in that state of mind again, you think the prison time is going to stop her from saying it?

I believe she will think twice about voicing her opinions... if she gives a damn about her child - never mind herself. No one is asking her what to think. She can think what she likes. Voicing that however, is a whole different ball game, and is the very thing that got her into this situation.

If not, she'll pay for her foul mouth and vile opinons - and possibly may lose her own child along the way if she can't restrain herself. And if this happens, be it on her own head.

Isn't it an odd circumstance that in a free country people should be afraid and think twice about voicing their opinions?

And anyways, UK people post a lot of politically incorrect stuff on youtube. Should that be a crime?
