Think of the plus points: the extra dosh: plus you get to escape the madness (well..... depends what work you do: you might be in the middle of the madness!! )

Ian will tell you, I am a terrible cook.

I have already booked Xmas dinner at a local restaurant with my friends. (I will bring doggy back for Sooty, Charlie and Scooby - Friends's dog )

I do not need to cook, so Xmas day, my kitchen will be nice and tidy and clean.
I am the person I do not want to use oven because I do not want to clean it after using it.
(My husband used to call me stinking lazy)

I'm over at friend's house - literally feet away from my own door - I'm in charge of the soup (yum yum - making a veggie option for the host and one of guests and non veggie one for the rest of us). and the roast vegetables.

I'm sure you aren't stinking lazy at all....I've seen your house remember....t'was a palace!! It's good to have someone else doing all the hard work over Christmas ....... I opted for friends with dishwasher!! Smart Pyramid

We get a paid week or so off in January instead lol, and definately in the middle of the madness, at least in the middle shift....I'm a waiter

I used to do both cocktail waitress work as well as bar work for 2nd jobs years ago; and always opted for those shift. Long hard hours, but great atmosphere and the tips were mega. Made it all worthwhile......
