Not sure of this at all. Can't make up my mind whether it is a good idea or a ludicrous one.
Those who couldn't attend can watch if they have computers that is? But would you really want to watch it on the net? You might as well instead get a relative or friend at the funeral to get it on camcorder for those who can't attend. Plus password protected means little these days, and more and more stuff gets leaked onto the net places like Youtube. Would you really like such a video of a relative or friend's funeral all over the net if that happened? Then there are the mourners to consider who may not like the idea of their faces being plastered over the net, whether for family and friends to watch or not.
