It's nothing to do with overcrowing.

I come from Newham originally. The reason Newham Council cannot house the people they're trying to send across the country is that there is a cap on housing benefit and since the Olympic Park has been built, and the new shops and apartments have arrived, rents have skyrocketed, even higher than the rest of London. Newham Council are trying to move people out of Newham into areas where housing is cheaper. After years and years of deprivation in an area where wartime bombsites still exited until the 1980s, suddenly the Olympic regeneration arrived. But all its meant for the indiginous people of Newham is that they are now priced out of their own homes and rich people are moving in while the unemployed and key workers on lower wages - teachers, nurses, paramedics... cannot afford to rent a place.

Incidentally, your mention of the BNP was in very poor taste. This issue doesn't have anything to do with immigration, race or the morons that makeup the BNP.
