Sorry, Greece is the rock upon which western democracy is built upon. the word itself stems from the Greek philosopher Democritus. You need to re-read what I wrote, too. I didn't say Christianity was responsible for our ills, but I merely stated that we'd be much more technologically advanced now, if it wasn't from the Christian dark ages.
This point isn't even up for debate as most Christians also acknowledge this fact. To do otherwise is to ignore history and facts in equal measure.

firstly thats a ridiculous assumption to make? at whose expense? Christiantity has been used as a moral and legal doctrine for 2000 years. without it, where are the checks and balances, who is to say whether technology can charge on regardless of who it harms or excludes? more bomb testing perhaps? Talk of forgiveness, enlightenment, redemption, love they enemies etc is visionary now, let alone 2000 years ago. Clearly you see it as a force some bad and for holding back humanity, whoich explains your tacky name and moniker, I see it as the exact opposite. I think your posts on the subject are narrow and closed minded, the very thing of which you accuse Christians
