I agree it was selfish that she was prioritised but she was not the only one who was at fault for that. When she heard the letters were in the hatch she did sit back down and initially seemed willing to not get the letters. Razor and Rylan were most vocal and encouraging of them to receive the letters and I don't really see why Claire is being singled out, Tricia and Razor got theirs too and Rylan was especially vocal about them taking them, yeah he did it because he saw an opening to be a hero but never the less he nor the rest gave a second thought about Ryan.

I said Claire because she was the one who didn't get her letter the last time, all the others would have gotten theirs that time, so it was for her benefit that everyone else lost their letters last time
