Asking someone a question isn't getting defensive Kizzy, if you don't want to take part in this discussion or want people replying to your comments then why post in here at all, there's plenty of other threads..

In the article in your OP it states quite clearly that the forcast would be for an winter that would be of a severity previously unseen.
I asked jack why this long term senario was attractive due to the mention of the widespread disruption and loss of services that was said to accompany this josy.
As you say asking a question is not being defensive and yet you see mine as some form of attack...
Are you asking me to leave your thread?
