If someone kept rudely butting into your conversation by shouting 'hey, hey, hey' and you had asked them to stop doing it countless times because it bugs you, wouldn't you get exasperated and annoyed? When you have looked after someone with Dementia/brain injuries and etc. You will understand.

It is hard to do and takes much committment and patience. This is just rudeness in the extreme. They will learn.
