they kind of are though. As are most people who spend all of their time on the internet. There's even a few here. They read so many things about the type of person they 'hate' (even tho according to them, its bad to h8!!!!) that they believe EVERYTHING they hear.

sometimes i think the internet is really bad for younger people, because they believe so much. there's so many things i've seen posted on here and i literally facepalm in real life, because you just know that it's something they have heard someone else say.

i dont care if someone has a stupid opinion... but when people listen to something, and it doesn't even have a source, i just don't have time for that.

i bet any money if i went on tumblr and posted something like 'Republican Mayor thinks women would be better off dead', it would get like 100,000 notes and a petition to have them sent out of office.

If Alex had been a girl yeah there probably would have been a lot of people saying it was wrong to take the picture, the fact is it was wrong to take the picture of Alex, it's people's attitude towards men and women which meant nobody spoke up because obviously men can't be sexual harassed

on the internet, its often hard to tell the difference.

and you really don't think men can be sexually harassed? I mean yeah, it doesn't happen nearly as much with men as it does with women... but it still happens.

To play devil's advocate for a minute I'd also say that objectifying comments towards women get treated slightly differently because of the context of women being far likelier victims of sexual assault and violence, plus there's the significance of women's historically unequal role in society. I often think that feminism bogs itself down in becoming overly analytical and too aggressive, but to dismiss all feminists as man haters desperate for female supremacy is a bit silly

i agree with all of what you're saying

i just think that the internet these days are making everything such an extreme and over the top issue
