Also, I think most at fault here would be the television show for not removing her the second she assaulted him. Although his retaliation was wrong, he wasn't wrong for retaliating, he just went to far, eye for an eye, not an eye, arm and a leg for an eye sort of thing.

He went too far.If she'd hit him first then it would be different.I don't condone hitting a woman,I could'nt do that to a woman because of the damage i know i'd cause.I've been hit by a girlfriend in the past but instead of slotting her i just scared her.She did'nt ever do it again and i DID'NT hit her.I feel too physically strong to hit a woman with my fist due to doing certain contact sports in the past and knowing i can hurt someone if i hit them.I would never feel right punching a woman.
