the point the hackers are making is that the site was charging people to delete their information, but they didn't delete the information. the clients should sue the company Ashley Madison, not blame the hackers.
The website was charging people 20 bucks to delete their accounts, and people thought if they paid that amount their data was being deleted, but instead ashley madison did not delete it, they kept it. that is why hackers are targeting them. Ashley Madison was running a major scam on people.
This really has nothing to do with cheating, it's about Ashley madison basically scamming people and blackmailing them to charge them 20 bucks for nothing.
I feel bad for all the people who had their information leaked, but it is ashley madison's fault, not the hackers! Ashley Madison promised to delete their information and charged them money to delete it, but they didn't delete it.
