We need to keep looking at ways to improve education and phones seems the best solution. When listening to teacher or using un updated test books from the 1980s kids get bored and do not take information in, yes it needs to be the case some of the time, but using technology in class is a more efficient way of gathering information.
If phones are on silent and visible to the teacher there is no problem with them.
People probably said the same when discussing brining computers and laptops into schools and they've turned out great brining in new subjects and new ways to learn, phones could do the same
