Thats all Im looking for. I dont care to what degree of offense you take each comment - its still offensive!

I completely understand connotations, history etc. etc. but they dont play the entire role of 'racism' - in fact I think they play a much smaller role between face-to-face interactions. We dont walk the streets thinking "they used to be slaves" or "they used to be masters" etc. - when a black and white person argue and race gets brought up its often purely the use of skin colour and any stereotypical associated traits/characteristics (e.g. promiscuity, snobbery etc.)
