Doesn't make it right for sure, but I've never been a fan of the whole romanticizing the ghetto gangsta lifestyle that was so prevalent in the 90s and early 00s largely pedaled by black stars of both genders.

I don't think it's a good idea to try and blame black people (even partially) for racism against them here. That may not be what you are trying to suggest, but you are definitely inferring it.
