We had a very scary night the other night when we went out as the mafia started beating on a young lad from our hotel and robbed him, we did help him home but ever since he has just stared at us and blanked us and not even said thank you which is a bit ungrateful

Hope you're having a good time (and like Ammi said he probably feels in shock about it and might not want to think/talk about it, and even though you helped him, seeing you might remind him of it so it's probably more that it's his feelings he's trying to ignore rather than you).
