I would definitely take Livia's (and Cherie's) advice and link above and file a complaint in the small claims court. You could also speak to your local citizen's advice as sometimes they have some good helpful suggestions, like writing a letter with your claim to her and how to word it, or getting a solicitor to write a letter for you. Whatever you do don't let her back into to your home/life. If someone proves untrustworthy once it's pretty likely it's a behaviour pattern.
