Ellie was in a defensive position for 99% of that situation, being pushed back. She did not square up to anyone once. The only reason she shouted "hit me" was because she was being charged and she thought it was going to happen anyhow.

Watch it again. She was shouting 'Hit me' in people's faces at the bottom of the stairs before any 'charging' occurred. That's not a defensive position no matter what you suggest. Hannah had her back to Ellie at the bottom of the stairs, yet Charlotte was trying to stand in between them and push Ellie back - why would Charlotte do that if she wasn't worried about what Ellie was doing?

And just so that you know, I am not defending Chanelle, Hannah, Deborah, Lotan, etc- they all played a part and all showed aggression, but Ellie did too.

It's good to support your favourites, but not to blindly defend them no matter what they do.
