However it would take some pluck to pull out a chair for certain women - as you can sense - even just by watching them - they re not going to take it well - i.e the one from loose woman? Carole? Or Germaine Greer?
At the same time women these days dont really expect to be "ladies first" unless someone is acting very ''masculine'' - which Karthik does try to - he is sending out mixed signals which is interesting for us to watch how it will play out.
Karthik used conservastism and conventions when it suits him - I.E he has a presence of persnality and demands (no less) to be a man like everyone else yet- he accused Paul of racisim. (Without reason - I believe)
Yet his attidude towards women is certainly skewed - he has already been called out for this already and it seems to be a pattern.
I am interested to see how far this goes as I know men like him -
However his sparing partner is another man - for now. Which is Paul.

most gf's Ive ever had expected me to pay the bills...so theyre the sexist ones not me...there are loads fo sexist women like that
as for sinking boats....nearly everyone who drowned on the titanic was a man as they gave their lives for the women and kids...and all they get as a reward is to be called sexist. the next time the boats go down, save the kids, to hell with the women. save yourselves men, no one appreciates you drowning for a spoilt feminist.......TRUTH OUT
