Is that mainly an English thing? I thought that would be right up most Scots street as well

I shall be working 9-5 Christmas Eve then travelling to a town near Milton Keynes where we are spending Christmas with some relatives. Not too happy about it as it's the best night of the year in our local pub. Think we are going for a curry Christmas eve as well which is a bit rogue

i used to go there for the midnight service after the pub shut, but I don't have the same stamina any more so need to skip the service
