I think its only worth a warning when the 'victim' or the viewers are offended. I dont think this happened.

I think he shouldn't have done it. But Andrew won't hold it against him, because they're best mates.

If housemates were to receive a warning every time viewers got offended, they'd be handing them out all the time.

They have warned someone before for the same thing pretty much..someone not offended....but it was still inappropriate....so why not this time.

And I disagreed with it then, too. Perhaps they've learned since then that it's wrong to make somebody feel guilty for something that didn't offend or set out to offend.

But why did they make Sam feel guilty then last year . Jemma confirmed she was okay with him and that they were having a laugh. You can tell they've been mates a while .

I felt it too..don't get me wrong. HOWEVER pulling someone's underwear down and joking about 'assault'...is a bit uncomfortable to watch especially as Shane has a bit of a soft spot for him.
Like I said if Ginuwine did that to Ashley and they joked about assault...it would be a whole different ball game even if she wasn't offended.

Why wait until someone is offended?....they have clamped down in the past even when people haven't been offended. Also some people might say they weren't when they were, not wanting to get a mate in trouble and looking bad.
There has to be a line...a consistency...a rule.

...and viewers have complained.

I hope Andrew has told Shane not to do that again.

The only complaints I've seen were 'BUT SOMEONE WAS GIVEN A WARNING FOR THIS FIVE YEARS AGO'. Thats not a real complaint about Shane, why should Shane be punished for that lol. Nobody (that I've seen) is worried about Andrews safety or uncomfortableness, only that BB isn't consistent. Its a bit sad actually when you think about it. State of the fans haha.

Perfect example is Sam from CBB20 who got defended yet still got a warning , and didn't Chloe rub herself on 1 of jedward and got called to the Dr.

But Jasmine grabbed Callum's crotch several times and because he either said nothing or joked about it she got let off the hook.

So either they scrap the warnings or they stay consistent . Otherwise it's confusing and sends out mixed messages .

Yes that's what I'm saying inconsistent .
He pinched her boob when she wore a see through dress / underwear or something. And she told BB she's fine and that he was joking with her,yet he still got called to the Dr for a warning .

The viewers are offended by pretty much everything. Especially if a housemate that they dislike does something to a housemate they like.

OMGz, Daniel dropped a spoon next to Ashley and it bounced and hit her ankle. I am so offended, he should definitely be ejected for that, anyone else would be

Look, John happened to be looking in Shanes direction while Shane was getting ready for bed. What an absolute pervert. Should definitely be warned, preferably ejected. Imagine if he had been looking at a woman?!?!?!!?

I think we're just going round in circles here . It's not necessarily about "being offended" it's the fact that BB has put rules and warnings in place and seem to use them when it suits them rather than stay consistent to them .

And this goes for other things , like contestants getting angry and throwing tantrums in the past or giving invalid reasons for nominations. BB needs to stick to it .

Otherwise don't bother atall .

I think its more..they use them when it makes sense to use them tbh. And when two housemates are having fun and both seem extremely relaxed and enjoying it, then its a bit daft to warn.

If anything this year, a warning should perhaps have gone to Genuwine when he forced that kiss on Ashley. She looked so uncomfortable and he seemed to have hold of her head pretty hard.

It does appear to be when its housemates viewers dislike that there are warnings called for tbh. I remember when they Hazel and Daley thing happened and so many people were still saying that nothing should have happened to him, purely as they dislike Hazel. They were also calling for her to be ejected for slapping his arse or something playfully

In short, blanket rules do not really work as context is important.

Are you kidding me ??? you think Ginuwine should of gotten a warning for a silly kiss ?? i'm done! .

Shane J pulling Andrew's pants down and touching his arse cheeks is acceptable!?? OK because that's that's fair .

Jemma & Sam were "having fun" in CBB20 and Sam still got a warning . So i don't care what anyone says , BB and their BS rules are inconsistent and daft .

And Callum looked embarrassed when Jasmine grabbed his crotch and nothing was done about it .

No, I dont think there should have been any warnings, BUT if we are looking for reasons to warn, thats the best I can come up with

I don't remember Jemma and Sam or what happened tbh. BB give out a lot of stupid warnings though tbh

What I mean by blanket rules don't wok is...lets Say Shane L got into Jess' bed tonight and she said no, but he did not get out and Jess was uncomfortable with this. A warning could maybe be given for this. So, people would assume that from now on, if anyone got into anyone elses bed and the housemate said no there should be a warning given. So tomorrow night, Genuwine gets into Ashleys bed, she says no but is giggling on and is comfortable when she says it so clearly doesn't mean it and it just taking the piss. Should he then get a warning? So they are consistent? Context is important.

Pulling someone's underwear down to expose them is unacceptable....simples.
