Some gay people are flamboyant and camp. Some aren't. There's nothing wrong with showing both. In fact, the last few times I've seen gay people on television before Shane J was on First Dates, and I can't remember one of them being camp

Unless you're referring to how fictional LGBT characters are very camp for the butt of a joke, then I'd agree
