Giving it more thought... tbqfh prequel trilogy > new trilogy so far . New trilogy has had it's moments but a lot of it has been either frustrating or twee. Huge chunks of the last film were crap. Rey / Kylo Ren stuff was mostly good and should have made up more of the film. The X-wing sequence at the beginning was great... but... most of the Rebel stuff was crap. All of the Fin stuff was crap. The Luke stuff was a total let down. Leia suddenly flying through space using the force, having never used anything more than vague force-sensitivity in the past, was flat out daft.
