Absolutely agree, kirk. Police work must be one of the most difficult jobs in the world, and particularly in American society. They have my respect.

Just as in all walks of life, there are good and bad people, as well as people who will make mistakes, but these are the exceptions rather than the rule.

Sadly its the exceptions that make the viral rounds and young impressionable people online make ill informed opinions about it

until they need the police that is and all bets are off

Let's not pretend it's not a forum catchphrase for you. Despite having no more information than anyone else has you can provide a valid opinion but everyone else who's opinion doesn't align with yours is "ill informed" because we don't have all the facts.
