I agree with all of that, except the bit about "The Left". It's not a left/right thing - everyone is doing it at the moment. Like I said on another thread, the whole thrust behind Trump's rise to power is whiney, right-leaning, disempowered white men who want "daddy Trump" to swoop in and solve all of their problems. We DO have a "snowflake problem" where everyone is offended about everything and apparently no one has the emotional stability to be able to handle it... and "Right" and "Left" are just as bad as each other. Both offending each other, both unable to handle perceived slights, all wanting "something official" done by "someone important", about all of it.

Nope. Its the left. They created this entire culture. the right is simply a reaction to it.

Oh I'd also add, a lot of people are desperate to blame "this new young generation" of current teens / 20-somethings for this. Errrmmm. Did they just pop out of the ground? Did they grow on trees? IF there is an issue regarding emotional stability infesting today's youth, there can only be one reasonable place to point the finger of blame. The ****ing selfish, arrogant Boomers and early GenX'ers. They are the parents who raised this generation, and yet they are the ones complaining the loudest about it.

I think young people are very switched on actually, at least they're not burying their head in the sand about the past and don't expect some cultures to 'get over' the injustices they suffered.

Nope theyre not switched on at all. They believe the nonsense revisionistout of context over simplistic history that paints the white man as the evil and everyone else as poor victims. If only life were so simplistic. Now theyve simply created an army of mostly workless victims devoid of truth and ambition and looking for handouts.
