Who does? Dairy is anything made from milk - cheese, butter, yogurt etc. I think you're just getting confused with what vegans eat (or don't eat ie anything that comes from an animal which would then include eggs)

Eggs are mentioned along the category dairy so people assume they're merged.

And eggs are from chickens ,so people think of animal = Dairy.

It felt like a trick question at first ,but when you think about it you feel stupid , Eggs aren't milk .
