Except the problem with the police is systematic and the reason why brutality is so ingrained is because too many 'good cops' allow the 'bad cops' to do what they do without accountability. You can't highlight good cops when the problem is widespread because of the inaction of said 'good cops'.

Even if the majority of cops in the USA were bad, wouldn't justify rioters smashing up their neighbourhoods and attacking folks It's easy to be in favour of riots when they're in another country.

The present riots and violence is the culmination of riots and violence on an unprecedented scale against a specific community going back centuries. That doesn't mean that the 25 year old police officer needs to feel as though he was steering the slaves ships himself. The good police officers should be equally outraged, but evidence of this on the scale we should be seeing isn't there.
