Third Houseguest Evicted on Big Brother Canada Season 9

March 19, 2021 – It’s a house divided as the Oddballs squared off against the Sunsetters in the third week of the competition series. Head of Household Victoria Woghiren kept the Sunsetters on their toes, making a legendary game move by threatening to put up POV winner Jedson Tavernier’s closest allies as replacement nominees if he used the Veto to remove Latoya Anderson. With a line drawn in the sand between the two sides of the house, tensions arose and Jedson ultimately chose not to use the Veto, sending Latoya home in a vote of 6 to 3 versus pawn Kiefer Collison.

“I think I played my best game and I stayed true to myself and I’m really proud that I got to have this experience,” said Latoya Anderson. “You’re in a pressure cooker with a whole bunch of strangers that you don’t know and sometimes it can be hard to navigate your way through that.”

After an impressive win by Victoria in last week’s HOH competition, Kiefer was wracked with guilt for throwing her under the bus and requested he be put on the block for the second week in a row. And while Victoria appeased Kiefer’s plea, she had a bigger target in mind: police officer Latoya Anderson. With four alliance members playing in this week’s POV competition, the Sunsetters had the advantage of saving one of their own members. But after Jedson’s worthy win, things weren’t so sunny as Jedson, Tychon, Latoya and Beth quarreled with Spicy V. Victoria devised a plan with fellow Bossy Glossy alliance members, Breydon and Austin, threatening to put Tychon or Beth on the block if Jedson used the Veto on Latoya, which had them shook. Ultimately, Jedson obeyed Victoria and opted not to use the Veto this week, forcing all houseguests to pick a side and ultimately sealing Latoya’s doomed fate.

Drama aside, it was also a jam-packed week of fun and games in the Big Brother Canada house. Lucky Breydon White got to enjoy a meal from SkiptheDishes after receiving Canada’s “Skip the Slop” vote. But his luck ran out when the winning OLG Bingo team picked Breydon to wear the cute but uncomfortable bingo ball outfit for the rest of the week.

This week’s live eviction episode concluded with the Head of Household competition, Senior’s Disc-Count, where fans watched Kiefer and Austin battle it out in a tiebreaker round. In the end, radio host Kiefer had the best shot and the final highest score, crowning him the newest Head of Household. After two weeks on the block, it will be smoother sailing for this Sunsetter for the rest of the week.
