John Fox Update:
He has been released from the hospital and will be recovering at home.
In case you didn't know, he collapsed playing golf while the Denver Broncos had their bye week. Turns out he had a preexisting heart problem and went into surgery in Charlotte.
Broncos Denfensive Cooridinator and former Head Coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars Jack Del Rio will step in for Fox as internim Head Coach for the Broncos for about 4-6 weeks.
Wish John Fox a speedy recovery.

Incognito is doing an exclusive interview with Fox Sports. Really interesting, basically he's defending himself and said that he's sorry. Was shown on Fox's Preshow.
It's football sunday, to help celebrate Veteran's Day (A Day to honor all americans gone to war from the Civil to the Iraq/Afghanistan) on Monday all fields this week will have in the OoB area behind each endzone "Salute to the Troops"
Loads of dead cert bets on the Broncos game tonight
Over 80.5 rushing & receiving yards for Woodhead
Over 52.5 rushing yards for Moreno
Moreno & Woodhead to score TDs
Over 32.5 points for Denver
Over 58 points in total
Denver -7.0
Put a couple of quid on each of those and you will be in the money
Jags win a game, what the hell

This has been a very odd season. A few teams that were horrid last year are dominating this year. Just noticed that Charlotte is on a 5 game winning streak

Update on the Dolphins Bullying scandal,
Martin will not play again this season, and Incognito got a personal foul during the 22-19 Loss against the Bucs in a game that they played on Monday Night.
Roy Mars III
12-11-2013, 06:58 PM
If people don't like what Incognito did, they are fooling themselves if they don't think it happens everywhere in the NFL. If you want to change it, change the culture not create a scapegoat in one player that will change nothing

Wrong football guys. SOOOOOO close to being tied with Lions. At least if we do beat the Lions on Thursday (Which is thanksgiving day by the way, tradition for NFL's Cowboys and Lions to host a home game for thanksgiving, then Night game of two other teams, this year its Ravens and Steelers) we'll be back in the driver's seat
I just had a realization that Euroball treats wins better than American Ball, Because in American Ball it's just a half a win.
Manning vs Brady on now
Though it's terrible conditions for QBs so it won't be so much a battle between them probably
Brady looking so shocking tonight :joker: D all over him, just fumbled inside his own 20
BBfanUSA
25-11-2013, 01:50 AM
I just saw that play. LOL.
Probably not the worst play today, in the Cowboys/Giants game, a Giants receiver fell down and two cowboys players within inches of him forget to touch him. So he runs it in. LOL
Pats fumbling 3 drives in a row :joker: amazing
BBfanUSA
25-11-2013, 02:26 AM
They fumbled again but they picked it up this time.
Broncos getting a bit to big for their boots here

i am a Rob Gronkowski fanboy
4 receiving yards in the game, and people ask how the Pats just cant score points tonight?

Roy Mars III
26-11-2013, 07:55 PM
Manning is so overrated. The old man can't play in the cold.
Brady once again proving he is the greatest QB of the modern era.
Devner might as well give up any hope of winning the superbowl. Manning will never be able to handle the superbowl in NY. Better luck next year, if he can even make it that long
Could be worse, we could have lost to Tampa Bay
Even if Manning has a bad game we will just have Knowshon run for another 200 yards

There's three games today as a part of Thanksgiving,
There's the traditional games that Lions and Cowboys host and then a night game.
This year the first game is Detroit vs Green Bay (Please start Flynn), Cowboys vs Raiders, and Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
Out of interest why's it always Detroit and Dallas who host games?

Cowboys won that game good,
The night matchup was interesting.
Mike Tomlin (Who looks like he might be able to play, I think he's the youngest coach in the NFL) didn't realize that he was on the field during play while both teams were playing, and he almost got ranover by Jacoby Jones, This is a nono and a penalty flag should've been thrown and NFL has said that they might fine him for it. Him getting out the way is .Gif worthy though.
And then in the second Q the Steelers Kicker forgot to kick the ball for a FG attempt and so they had to fake it with horrible results.

he obviously did that on purpose to stop the guy from scoring a touchdown.
Does look deliberate but then doesn't look enough to make much difference on the play
Six figure fine still seems pretty excessive as well, I know they gave it before to that Jets coach but that was a lot worse
Roy Mars III

Not kidding they're scrolling a item on the Fox Sports ticker in the states saying that American Football could be facing a vote to become an olympic sport in 2024 in 2017.
There's a world cup so it is possible. (I'm serious.)
Unless there's a gap that shrinks between the US and a bunch of other countries or the US ironically isn't participating in the event. This is actually not a good idea. It's a free gold medal for the US practically.
The US National Team doesn't use pros and they're all from college teams btw.

Rose Bowl should be an interesting one, National Championship Game on Dec 6th is a must since it'll be last one under the current format (Game will be Florida State Playing Auburn for those that don't know). Next year there's going to be a 4 team playoff. BCS is a deciding factor I think, but a selection commitee has the final say.
I'll be watching the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day, has a local in state college playing in it.
Probably will be the only game where I wouldn't mind a SEC kicking a separate conf. team's Arse.
Broncos finish by thrashing the Raiders, securing the AFC no. 1 seed and homefield advantage, and Manning breaks even more records

I do not remember saying that at all(but I probably did). Jim Schwartz will hopefully be fired in a few hours and we can get a coach who doesn't have the temperate of a 14 year old boy who drank too much Mountain Dew. We have one of the best rosters in the league, with the a good defense, the #1 WR, and a top five QB( in terms of talent, he needs to be taught better mechanics)
BBfanUSA
30-12-2013, 01:25 PM
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they get rid of Schwartz and go after Jon Gruden.

As MTVN is pointing out, today is Championship sunday
Up first is Patriots and Broncos, Brady vs Peyton go head 2 head in the AFC Championship for what could be the final time (Because they're both getting up there)
Then the night cap at 6:05 PM US Eastern Time, is a Division Derby, Colin Kapernick and Russell Wilson lead their teams 49ers and Seahawks into the NFC Championship.
Super Bowl already is making me drool because the QB matchup should be interesting as it's going to be Old School vs New School.
My pick will be Denver and Seattle battling it out for a Lombardi Trophy in the city of Lights, New York. Very Excited for a cold weather super bowl. Will not be on here to chat about it when it happens this year though, going over to a mate's house to watch it.
Nervous now, with the strength of our team + homefield advantage we should be winning the game but you can never know in this sport especially postseason and especially with Manning vs Brady
BBfanUSA
19-01-2014, 08:26 PM

Good first half to limit them to just the 3, shame we couldn't take advantage of some good positions and had to settle for a FG a couple of times but we're looking the better team
Talib getting injured is a big blow for the Pats

There's rumors that the NFL would get rid of PATs and replace them with an free extra point. 2 points conversions would still be a viable option, But if you fail you'd get no points at all.

They led the draft and chose the players with 2 lucky fans, It's supposed to be real life fantasy football. I explained this like a few weeks back.
I actually kinda like this because players from the same team are facing each other. A Browns player backfliped over one of his own guys and a two Carolina players playing for opposing teams tackled each other.

I'm not watching the awards show tonight but they also announced this year's HoF class
It's starting to be people who I watched when I was younger
Micheal Strahan, Defensive End (Life has been going quite well for him, since he retired from the NFL, he's now a Fox pundit and presents a Morning Talk Show.)
Derrick Brooks, Linebacker
Ray Guy, Punter (First Punter to get into the hall of fame)
Claude Humphrey, Defensive End
Walter Jones, Offensive Tackle
Andre Reed, Wide Receiver
Aeneas Williams, Cornerback
No Coaches but Tony Dungy was a finalist. He'll surely get in though. I guess just not this year.

In The aftermath of the Super Bowl, Wilson is going to Baseball Spring Training. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the Rule 5 draft and he's going as a pitcher to motivate players old and young to win. (The Club in the last three years lost the world series twice. This could help them)
There's also a movie coming out in April that's is a docudrama about what happens behind the scenes on draft day in the US. Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, and Kevin Leary star in it. Aptly called Draft Day

Yeah at least being openly gay while activly playing. I think another former player came out a few years after he retired.
He came out to his college teammates this summer apparantly. And they supported him.
I don't know how most would accept it because it's still a little bit of taboo thing. I think former Vikings Punter Chris Kluwe is supportive of Gay Marriage though.
