By the way, I've been seeing alot of positive reaction from former NFL Players, Current Players, Coaches, Owners, and reporters regarding Sam.

Some guy posted this on the NFL forum.
"Tailgate32 is an adventure web series that follows brothers Mike & John as they road trip America to tailgate 32 NFL games in one season. Exploring the American traditions of road tripping, tailgating, and football fan culture, they push themselves to the extremes on this 25000-mile nonstop trek, struggle with an RV that seems to have a mind of its own, and discover what drives the world's most passionate and colorful fans."
Pretty good for newcomers and people looking to find a team to support still.

Tailgating seems super cool. One thing I do actually envy from American sport fan culture.
Drew.
17-02-2014, 06:45 PM
Some of these fans and traditions are crazy, the amount of beer and food they get through is nut.. i want to do something like this badly. Houston, Green Bay and Baltimore are my favourites so far.
BBfanUSA
19-02-2014, 03:54 AM
I've tailgated with some friends before a HS Football game before. It's great, we didn't drink but we played some FB and ate some food before the game.
How can you leave out Marching Bands? Some of the College ones are brilliant . I was in a High School Marching Band actually. It's hard as hell and It can wear you out, We went through a week long camp and everything.
Ray Rice is the first arrest of off season after getting in a fight with his fiancee
Will probably be cut by the Ravens now, video pretty much confirms that he knocked her out

ESPN kept that as the Best of the Best Top Plays for weeks, they had to retire it after a year.
On the other side of the spectrum, Matt Sanchez's Butt Fumble (Where he not only ran into the butt of a offensive lineman, he managed to drop the ball at the same and a Patriots player took it back) stayed on the Worst of the Worst for weeks.

So, Free Agency has started, A few good players have been cut, and Broncos all of the sudden realizing they have a **** ton of money are buying all the players!
Aquired today
Dallas' DE DeMarcus Ware
NE CB Aqib Talib
Safety TJ Ward
Looks like they're trying to be a hard team to face even after Manning Retires.

Great signings, massive boost to the secondary in particular which let us down a bit at times last season

Any reason why the free agency is done so early then
Dunno really just to give them plenty of time I guess, free agency won't end till the 2nd of May

The Draft is very late this year but it's still the same schedule used in the last few years.
1st Round is Friday
2nd-3rd is Saturday
4th-7th is Sunday
Oh and Saints' Darren Sproles found out he was getting traded via twitter thanks to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter (Who's a great insider, one of the best.). He now wants to be released.

Bears just basically gave up, They failed to sign Josh McCown, Tampa Bay picked him up for a two year 10 mil contract, could be 15 depending on playtime.
He's a great player so I hope he does well. Why do the bears think Cutler is the QB for them? :bored:

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and tight end Coby Fleener were guests of the Hammers for the Barclays Premier League fixture with Liverpool. American footballers Luck, who stands 6'4", and close friend and former Stanford University team-mate Fleener, 6'6", are both enthusiastic fans of what Americans commonly call soccer.
Luck, who spent part of his childhood living in west London, and Fleener thoroughly enjoyed their first visit to the Boleyn Ground, asking countless questions about the team, the history of the Club and the Hammers' upcoming move to the Olympic Stadium.

They're releasing the schedules tonight for all the teams at 8 PM ET US
If you're new the schedules usually go like this
6 games home and away against the other teams in your division
4 games against another division in your conference (2 Home and 2 Away)
4 games against another division in the other conference (2 Home and 2 Away)
2 games against teams that performed similarily to you in the standings (1 Home and 1 Away)
(So teams with losing records get teams with losing records and vice versa.)
Also the time for the Falcons Lions London game was announced to be at 1 PM GMT.
Game will be on in the US at 8 AM, meaning for the first time ever, there will be 4 time periods within a week
BBfanUSA
24-04-2014, 12:16 AM
Schedules are out, Season will start September 4th with the traditional SB winner kicking off the season at home. This year will be the rematch of the infamous Fail Mary, Seattle will be hosting Green Bay.

Guess what's in one week? The NFL Draft. FINALLY!
BBfanUSA
08-05-2014, 02:26 PM
First round of the draft tonight.
I predict that Houston will draft Johnny Manzel tonight as the first pick.
First round is live on Sky for us from midnight, not hugely exciting from a Bronco stand point but I'll try and stay up for our pick
BBfanUSA
08-05-2014, 07:13 PM
Oh, the two channels in the US that will be broadcasting the draft this year. (ESPN and NFL Network) will not be spoiling the picks before they're revealed by commissioner Goodell.
So if you want to know the picks before they're revealed, you're going to have to turn to CBS' people.
Not sure if Sky has some people that will.
Think we get the NFL Network feed so guess we wont have them spoiled, prefer that
Drew.
08-05-2014, 08:26 PM
Never watched the draft before, Will have to get onto the NFL UK forums tonight to catch up with everything and read about how it all works, fingers crossed its similar to the NBA draft.
Drew.
08-05-2014, 09:17 PM
Still haven't decided on which team to properly follow, it's impossible to pick when you've got no connections with America
Drew.
08-05-2014, 11:24 PM
Right then, hopefully this doesn't confuse me too much
Nah its pretty straightforward really, not sure what the NBA one is like but its pretty easy to pick up the process here
Only thing is I don't follow college at all so have no idea who the best players are
Drew.
08-05-2014, 11:31 PM
Yeah thats the annoying thing.. So many more players in the NFL to the NBA it's really hard to know who is who. Its easy to remember who the best players are going into an NBA draft.
Brother Leon
08-05-2014, 11:32 PM
Johnny Manziel for #1. No one else do I know :idc:
Drew.

Mock draft I saw yesterday didn't have him going till 16 with the Cowboys, that would be surprising though since he'll surely be the first QB to go
Texans might go defense with Jadevon Clowney first pick instead
BBfanUSA
08-05-2014, 11:38 PM
Jadevon Clowney is the guy who knocked a college player's helmet off and picked up a fumble in the same play.
And yes, a player has the name of Ha Ha Clinton Dix
Drew.
08-05-2014, 11:38 PM
#NFLDraft2014 one of the top UK trends, good to see the popularity of NFL growing.

I'd be up for it
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BnJrEAaIMAEvNFK.jpg:large

Howd they get that shirt printed so quick
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:21 AM
Howd they get that shirt printed so quick
They have them printed out in advance.
They seriously have them for every team for every player invited to show up. Just in case.
Drew.
09-05-2014, 12:23 AM
Bet they've cocked that up a few times in the past and brang the wrong shirt out
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:24 AM
It wouldn't surprise me.
They also have a shirt for the final pick in the last round. They don't have a player's name on it but on the back it says Mr. Irrelevant.
I think they get a trip and some things too for being the last pick.
Drew.
09-05-2014, 12:27 AM
I really like Oakland, hopefully they pick this Johnny Manziel
Drew.
09-05-2014, 12:34 AM
That Maycock guy ruining the whole suspense by saying they'd probably pick him
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:35 AM
ESPN's better but they have a blue room...that's on the stage and not enclosed...
Really?
Dunno why the studio all know anyway, is it that hard to keep it a secret in the few minutes between them deciding and having it announced
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:37 AM
Well, the Buffalo trade for the 4th was pretty quick.
Hate to be drafted by the Bills
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:39 AM

09-05-2014, 12:49 AM
Well i won't be following the Raiders, the jersey was the most attractive part.

09-05-2014, 12:53 AM

BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 12:54 AM
Here comes the Glazers' team.
They manage TB just as bad as Man u
Drew.
09-05-2014, 12:58 AM
How long down the list does it usually get before the main players start to die down and all the scrubs get picked off?
I guess probably 15-20, they should all be amazing players through the first round but all the superstar names will probably will be gone by then
Brother Leon
09-05-2014, 01:00 AM
Manziel's team mates going before him :joker:
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:02 AM
You mean the guys coming out of the green room?
Most if not all are gone by the first round's last pick.
I think there have been instances where green roomers had to wait until the 2nd. (Which is Tomorrow with the 3rd. the rest are done on Saturday during the day)
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:03 AM
Browns just traded and are on the clock.
They might get Manziel.
Drew.
09-05-2014, 01:03 AM
Johnny Manziel a potential franchise QB & these fools ignoring him. If by some unheard of miracle he stays in and Packers get him then i'm with them.
Watch him get picked next
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:05 AM
Packers have Aaron Rodgers,
No way in hell they draft another QB like Manziel. Asking Price would be too high.
I guess Vikes, Titans and Cowboys are the upcoming ones who might be tempted by him
Brother Leon
09-05-2014, 01:07 AM
If Vikings don't pick him then He could drop real low.
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:08 AM
Cowboys won't, they're not competent enough to.
If Vikings pick him, he'd had a hard time running. Minnesota is playing in a college team's open stadium for the next two years and it gets COLD in Minneapolis in the winter.
Drew.
09-05-2014, 01:09 AM
Cowboys will
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:10 AM
MN is the next and I have a feeling they'll.
They need to convince fans to come see the Vikings in the cold for the next 2 years and I think Manziel could do that.
BBfanUSA
09-05-2014, 01:12 AM
Yeah, he's going to drop now.

A good pick by the sounds of it, secondary still needed strengthening and he sounds like a really talented player even if he was only the 5th CB to be selected. Though he was arrested last month for DUI but ah well

Minnsota bought the last pick from Seattle?
Good choice too.
Ha Ha looked pissed off at his pick, so did a few of them
Clowney looked happy but that was probably just because he was 1st pick, Txans suck right?
Sorta but good thing about the NFL is that a terrible team one year could be a SB winning one within the next 5 or so seasons, so much easier to progress that a lot of the early picks will just love being a part of that
Texans have only been around about a decade but before this season they topped the AFC South two years running and got to the Divisionals both times
Drew.
09-05-2014, 11:29 PM
Oakland have just drafted a QB so why didn't they get Manziel yesterday if they are after a QB?
More pressing needs I guess, they've got Schaub at QB this season and they'll probably hoping he can do a decent job for the time being while they try and sort out all the other holes in their roster. They might bring in this new QB at some point in the season but they'd never consider throwing him in too early like some of the highest picked QBs in the draft are sometimes expected to do
Drew.
09-05-2014, 11:38 PM
Ah that makes sense.. saw quite a few people saying Carr was a good draft for the Raiders but will probably sit out the first year so that explains it.

The NBA one is so much easier to follow. Only 2 rounds, 30 picks each round and you get to know about 70% of them. I find my self Googling pretty much all these people and there are too many rounds to truly be on top of it all

Openly Gay Player Micheal Sam has been drafted finally. Pick #249, by the St. Louis Rams.
He was this past year's SEC Defensive Player of the Year (SEC in College Football is La Liga to most of Europe for those that don't know) so I'm surprised he was on the board for that long.
Our draft seems fairly good, only had 6 picks in the end but filled all our holes with players who can hopefully do a job straight away. We're sorta constrained by the fact our team is built is around Peyton and he probs only has 2 years left, maybe 3, so we need a more immediate impact
Not sure what we got for the picks we traded but hopefully it was useful
Drew.
10-05-2014, 11:15 PM
Sounds like Oakland had a good draft, Was always drawn to them when i first started watching NFL because of their colours and fans but their team were known to be pretty bad. Getting a connection with a club is stressful business, will never be able to decide.

I have been reading about NFL on websites and forums for ages now, Still haven't connected with a team fully, getting more and more drawn towards the Packers since the draft the more i read about them and watch videos of them though. But then the 49ers have Kaepernick & Smith who i like, history and decent colours but then Cleveland could be pretty good fun to follow now they've got Manziel.. Do i go for the cheese lovers, Kaepernick or Manziel
Suppose trouble with the Browns is there's no knowing how Manziel will do when the last two QBs the Browns drafted have flopped, and they've been pretty terrible for a long time now
Drew.
13-05-2014, 06:25 PM
Yeah i have pretty much cancelled them out, Manziel was the only real thing that interested me about them but that's not really enough. Really getting drawn to the Packers though.

NFL Fans can be quite vicious, but it depends on the atmosphere and the socioeconomic factors in an area.
Green Bay and Chicago (Close Proximity, have faced each other since the 1920s) and Oakland and Kansas City (Were part of a league called the American Football League, it became a hit instantly (The Rivalry) . Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Denver Broncos' safety T.J. Ward after he allegedly got into a fight with staff at a Denver strip club earlier this month.
The scuffle ensued after the 27-year-old, who signed with the team just two months ago, brought alcohol into PT's All Nude after he thought the establishment had allowed him to do so, the Denver Post reported.
But once inside, he was questioned by wait staff and a confrontation ensued - with Ward allegedly throwing an object at a female bartender, sources told 9News.

Meaning anyone can own the trademark, meaning more than likely the owner is going to have to change the team name.
Because now they're losing millions of dollars because apparel makers no longer have to pay in order to buy gear with Redskins on it.
It's been removed because it is considered offensive to Native Americans

The reason why we don't have an NFL team is because then Minnesota would be jealous.
We do have an Indoor Football team though. They were in the Arena Football League this year but they decided to switch leagues because it would save money and the Arena Football League is starting to make mistakes that led to bankruptcy in the first place.
EDIT: Iowa actually has two, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines (uses Iowa) both now in the same league
