Yeah we had 79% possesion in the first half, Had 2 disalowed goals, Reina kept them in it could have been about 3-0 in the first half and then the second half he made a class save from a cahill header, there two goals were a deflection from yobo and a rebound off a howard save after another yobo mistake

Yobo always fails us in the big games i can remember him giving the ball away to rooney about 2 seasons ago and rooney going on to score united won in the end

I like Everton cuz my mother studied in Liverpool and has fond memories of going to Goodison Park for the odd game. Love to visit that stadium before it disappears, which will happen eventually I suppose.

Yeah, I watched the highlights. Zlatan is playing well. And Diarra getting a red (2 yellows) srewed real as well. Its funny how Real, with all that money spent, they might end up second as usual. LOl.

Thing is, Barca were down to 10 men way before real and barca still won LOL

OH REALLY!!?? I didnt even konw that. That makes it even funnier.
I hate teams that spend so much money! So will be always against real this year!
Thats why I always like Arsenal. They might not win all the time, but they always build from within, and young guys. They dont just go and spend money, on already established players.

LONDON - Arsenal will be seeking new players in the January transfer window because of Robin van Persie's long-term injury, manager Arsene Wenger said on Tuesday.

Wenger had said earlier that he was unlikely to spend and was happy with the squad but losing the Dutch striker for four to five months with an ankle injury has changed his thinking.

"I didn't feel we were in the need to buy anybody but we will be out on the market that is for sure now," he told the Arsenal website.

"However we will only make a decision if it suits us."

Arsenal are fourth overall and 11 points behind Chelsea in the Premier League, although with a game in hand, after losing to the leaders 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend.

The Dutchman, who had scored eight goals in his last 11 matches for Arsenal, was injured in a friendly between Netherlands and Italy last month after landing badly following a tackle.

The North London club have also lost England under-21 fullback Kieran Gibbs for three months after he broke a bone in his left foot last month, while Danish forward Nicklas Bendtner is recovering from groin surgery.

Good to see FIFA are continuing their "****ing useless" policy.

Its taken them two weeks to decide to launch an investigation to decide whether Thierry Henry is a cheating **** or not. They've also decided to have another inquiry to decide whether extra officials and goal line technology would help improve decision making, or not.

Have FIFA ever made a decision without forming a committee to form a committee to launch an investigation?

Its a pity we don't have football fans (you know, the ones that finance the game) making decisions instead of corrupt ex-players and officials that are more interested in the back handers and quality of their hotel room, than the game itself. ****ing wankers, the lot of them.

Very good draw for England. I wish you all to do well, youre always a legend in the world cup, especially the fans!
But dont Sleep on Algeria. I know people are only thinking of the US, as an outside threat, but the most dangerous teams, are the ones you dont know much about. They are actually quite good. They knocked us out (Senegal), in the frst group round, winning our group. Then knocked out Egypt, a very, very good team.
BUt they should go through to the next round, hopefully taking on Germany in the 2nd. :D

Go africa! I hope we do our continent proud this time around.
Cote divoire has got it tough, with Portugal and Brazil, but I think they get through it.
It sucks when your country didnt make it, and you see the draws!

if we get the 2018 world cup you'll soon see players emerge,
i dont think it's a problem some players dont relise their potential till they're in their mid twenties.
i think we have them coming through, in players like walcott, rodwell, richards, milner, noble, welbeck, wilshire, cattermole, gibbs

and players like lennon, jagielka, defoe, young, johnson, c cole and rooney still have plenty of years left in them

he's won premier league player of the month for november, beating players like drogba, he's only played about a month in the past year and half.

he was in the england squad before he got injured, i think he would have been close to going to the world cup, even if he didn't play he'd be great for team morale.

Joseph Yobo will be out of action for Everton and Nigeria until the end of the year because of injury.

The 29-year-old pulled a hamstring during his club's 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.

It means he will be out until Christmas but he is hoping to still be fit for the Nations Cup in Angola next month.

"A scan carried out showed that it was a familiar hamstring injury [and] that I should rest until the end of the year," Yobo told BBC Sport on Thursday.

"They (doctors) anticipate that I should be fully back at the end of December.

"Unfortunately that will cost me a chance to help out my club at this demanding and crucial stage of the season."

Yobo was substituted after only 15 minutes during the Premier League game on Sunday.

"Everton means a lot to me because it is my second family but my thoughts and prayers will be with the team while I recover," he added.

"Hopefully I will return a better and fitter player at the beginning of 2010, a special year for Nigeria football.

"The physiotherapists have got a grip of the situation and the method of perfect recovery and that is the path we are taking at the moment."

Nigeria coach Shaibu Amodu has already lost striker Ikechukwu Uche to injury for Angola.

Obafemi Martins, Seyi Olofinjana, Danny Shittu and Yusuf Muhammed are all in a race to be fit for the Cup of Nations, which kicks off on 10 January.

Nigeria will face defending champions Egypt, Mozambique and Benin in the group phase of the biennial tournament.

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone has revealed that the Toffees are officially in talks to bring LA Galaxy's USA international striker Landon Donovan to Merseyside.

The versatile forward is expected to join the Toffees on loan now that the MLS season has ended, in a deal similar to the one which has taken David Beckham from Galaxy to AC Milan.

"Landon is a player David Moyes has identified as someone he would like to bring to the club," Elstone told his club's official website.

"We are working to make that happen and hope we can reach agreement soon with all the appropriate parties."
Should the talks prove successful, the player will join the club on January 2.

West Brom keeper Scott Carson has apologised to fans and team-mates for his red card against Cardiff.

He was sent off for violent conduct after head-butting Bluebirds striker Michael Chopra during Tuesday's defeat.

The 24-year-old England international said: "I'm captain of the team, a role I take very seriously, and I shouldn't have reacted in the way I did.

"I apologise to the players, the supporters and everyone connected with the club for the fact I was sent off."

Carson, who will serve a three-game ban for the dismissal, added: "A cross came over and I got caught by their player, who got nowhere near the ball.

"I should have just let it go and I'm disappointed in myself for getting involved.

"Having said that, I believe I was provoked and am disappointed in the way a fellow professional reacted.

"It was completely out of character for me to be involved in anything like that."

Carson will miss the games with QPR, Blackpool and Peterborough, and his place is likely to be taken by Dean Kiely, who replaced him against Cardiff.

"I don't like missing a minute of football - never mind three games - but Dean will come in and do a great job for the team, just like he always does," said Carson.

"We just need to put the whole thing behind us now because Tuesday was a nightmare from start to finish."

Piss off Carson you stupid twat. Chops didn't bloody provoke you all he did was come in for a cross and then you nut him you silly bastard. How the hell is this fella a captain, idk.
