That's true enough. You'd have to say Giggs at the moment but he's hardly a spring chicken. I do rate Fletcher very highly and Valencia is very solid but yeah, I don't know why he didn't buy a creative midfielder of some kind. There were a few on offer too.

He was a bit greedy when he was getting like 2-3 appearances a season with us, and often used too many stepovers/fancy tricks rather than just working hard at it. Since he went to QPR he looks to be maturing and bettering though, and he's obviously getting more playtime to develop. Scored an awesome freekick against Derby at the weekend.
