Moreover, its possible to consider that Packie is leaving Liberty City when the plane flew over the large lighted "V" sign, which signifies the departing from Grand Theft Auto IV's setting to Grand Theft Auto V's new setting, Los Santos, which is set in San Andreas which makes it somewhat possible that Packie is heading to Los Santos. He might have some importantce in the game, (with the dufflebag he has, likewise), and might appear in Grand Theft Auto V.

This. They need to get proper gameplay trailers out soon - for all the other Rockstar titles since 2010 - they've had gameplay trailers out, I mean loads. It seems like they're ashamed of the gameplay or something, so keep churning out cutscene and 'trailer staged' sh*te.

Fed up with Vice City being left at the bottom of the pile :laugh: They can't give Liberty City and Los Santos a complete overhaul and just leave Vice City like it's a piece of sh*te.

Imagine a re-imagined, HD version of Vice City :love: I know people argue that it would be crap because it isn't the 80s anymore, but that doesn't matter. They could find some way around it - like I said, even expand it to all of Florida - rather than just little Vice City.

Rockstar claims its goal was to create the ultimate open world

The transition between the three protagonists is smooth; the camera zooms out to a Google Earth view, the screen fills with static, the camera moves across the city and zooms back into your chosen character

The closer characters are, the quicker the transition. During missions where they're all together its instantaneous

Each character is rated in a series of skill categories: Stamina, Shooting, Strength, Stealth, Flying, Driving, Mechanic, Lung Capacity.

Each character has a 'Special': Franklin is an adrenalin junkie and can slow down time while driving; Trevor has a frenzy mode, where he's does double damage, takes half damage, and has a unique melee attack; Michael has his own version of bullet time

Specials are governed by a meter, it drains after use and recharges slowly
Other skill categories are shared and can be improved by completing missions, side missions, activities and more

Trevor will always be the best pilot, Franklin will always be the best driver but each can improve their proficiency a little

One of the skill categories is stealth, suggesting players will be able to take different approaches to missions

The wave physics are some of the best we've seen in any game this generation

Although weather wasn't shown, it's easy to see how they'd work in the game

Some boats will include gear such as wetsuit, flippers and tanks for diving
An underwater ecosystem exits, "the sea is teaming with fish and sharks"
Treasures can be found underwater, but NPCs will be looking for them too
GTA 5 rewards exploration, there's no signposting underwater, so you'll have to find the treasure the hard way

Dives won't offer massive payoffs, but will "help grease the wheels"
The character selection wheel is split into four triangles: Franklin, Trevor,
Michael, and your multiplayer character

It seems there's a closer relationship between single and multiplayer. Simply pressing Down on the d-pad will drop the play in and out of MP.

Michael's obsession with classic films translates into in-game set pieces based on real world movies. In the demo the three characters mount a heist very similar to the one from Heat.

'Mini heists' are used to teach the player about preparation. Players must secure vehicles, outfits, masks, the getaway vehicle and locations for dumping potentially damaging.

These build up to a bigger heist where the execution must be flawless. They'll require the right crew and players will have to decide on the cheap option, which results in less skilled people, or paying more for skilled crew members that will a larger cut.

You can switch between Franklin, Trevor and Michael during a cutscene, manually, or automatically when the AI takes control for you
Each character has a job to do, how much you switch yourself in or let the computer do, is entirely up to you

If you die the game reloads to the last checkpoint, even if two other characters are alive

Although it's up to the player when they switch, dialogue will suggest ideal moments. For example, when Michael and Franklin are being overwhelmed by snipers, Michael might ask for Trevor's help.

Surprised it took so long. It works in Saints Row, but that regenerates to max. Regenerating to 50 is good. Karl, IMO changing discs isn't that big a deal - it didn't bother me with L.A Noire, plus alot of the time you can just download the game from the discs at the start - and then you're ready to go.

In addition, each of the guys has their own missions and side jobs. There will be times on a mission when you play as one character, or as combinations of two of them, and sometimes as all three, always being able to switch between the characters mid-action. In the open world, the characters are meant to be living their own ongoing and unpredictable personal lives, so understandably it’s not always easy to track one of them down in the vast city of Los Santos or the many towns spread about Blaine County at any given moment, but you will be able to find them. Having found them, (or simply after calling them up and arranging to meet them), you’ll certainly be able to hang out with them, annoy them should you choose, and maybe even assault them, but you won’t be able to kill them. They all have remarkable powers of recovery and good health insurance. The game is based on playing all sides of these three characters’ interwoven stories rather than having generic, interchangeable leads, so permanently killing a major character in that way wouldn’t make sense. If a player is determined enough though, they may well find a way to badly injure one of the characters and switching to that character would just put you in the hospital to continue where you left off.

- Franklin starts at the bottom on the ladder of crime, restoring cars for Armenian 'crappy' named Simeon Yetaria.

- ATMs can be used to check the balance of the protagonists.

- You can pick up hitchhikers on the streets and then leave them in their ideal destination.

- Playing as Michael - The ATMs can be stolen with a minigame, if we want.

- Internet cafes have been removed. Now you can navigate (even in social networks from the game) and watch videos on the mobile phone of our character.

- You will be able to drill a gas tank, drive the car into a group of enemies, then run and catch the trail to blow the car into the air.

- Hundreds of accessories available to customize your pet.

- Your dog can die or get lost. You can buy a new pet in a pet stores spread over Los Santos.

- You can hunt the animals and sell the meat obtained factories or farms. (which are bought by Burger Shot)

- You can leave your car parked on the street, but if you don't pay the ticket, the traffic wardens can take it. But you can recover it in the warehouse prior municipal payment if you want to lose after having invested your money in editing.

- There are underwater exploration missions. They are considered by Rockstar as a game "apart".
