Not interested in the game, but worth adding that both the PS4 and One versions will supposedly be 1080p/30FPS.

Lot's banging the drum of the whole 'MS paying for parity' BS. People ignore that, whilst both are supposedly going to run at 1080p/30FPS, it's likely the PS4 version will be the better version in other fields.

Some unable to get over it not being 60FPS also. :facepalm:

I'm so tired of the 60fps brigade going on and on about 30fps games, its like, yes, I know there is a difference between the two, but if you put a 30fps game in front of me and told me it was 60fps, I'd likely believe them, lol.

Apparently GTA Online has a proper character creator, old users can redo their characters looks.

Those complaining should really just buy a PC. There's a reasonable chance, I'd say, that we won't even see 1080p/60FPS across the board even in two years time. Better graphics are more marketable than 60FPS.

Probably the usual stuff depending on your GPU. Nothing I'm aware of if you're referring things such as more A.I. in the PC version etc. There's bonuses for returning players who have the PS3/360 version also. Although that's across all platforms.

Yeah, they've added a depth of field thing, which really helps the game look a whole lot better. It really does look like the screenshots. The explosions look glorious.

Users are reporting problems with a bug related to GTA 5′s day one patch on PS4, an issue which is preventing any access to GTA Online. Rockstar has said it is working on the issue.

The fix is currently in the works for PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One fix should arrive tomorrow. tomorrow.

Those who are experiencing the error code “CE-32937-4” when downloading the day-one patch should try downloading the update later. Rockstar said it may be a “regional issue”.

“We are currently addressing this issue with a patch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users,” said the developer on its support site. “This patch is available for download, but may not be available in your region for the next few hours. If you attempt to download the patch and see a ‘CE-32937-4′ error, please attempt to download the patch again later today.

“This issue will be addressed for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users by tomorrow. Affected PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can still log in to Grand Theft Auto Online but will not be able to transfer characters until the fix is in place.”

The original story is as follows.

Original Story

Users are reporting that a bug related to a day one patch for the PS4 version of GTA 5 is preventing access to GTA Online.

A 1.14Gb patch must be downloaded and installed before players are permitted to transfer their characters from last-gen versions and enter multiplayer.

But even after the patch has been implemented, users are complaining that their PS4 tells them the patch cannot be downloaded and access to GTA Online is blocked.

The PS4 attempts to re-download the patch, whereby the error occurs and the user is informed the update cannot be accessed.

This has happened to me personally. I was able to install the patch, transfer my character from Xbox 360, go through all the character customisation and start to play GTA Online, but when I rebooted I was unable to access anything other than Story mode thanks to the error.

The problem has yet to be resolved, and is not the only launch hiccup: players are also reporting difficulties in transferring old characters into the new versions.

You can't play cross generation, PS3/PS4 have different online (which is fair enough seeing as the current gen players would have advantages)

Yeah, I saw that earlier. On my first glimpse I didn't see the One logo in the top corner and assumed, having seen the grass (or lack of), it was last gen vs current gen. :joker:

Lack of foliage, possibly due to bandwidth. Maybe should of aimed for 900p if there's other such examples.

The grass is similar to RDR last gen, but on the PS3.

They both look pretty identical from what I've seen except for one site seemingly fooking up the PS4 settings. I'd assume the PS4 version is better.

Oh dear. Please don't tell me you bought a PS4 expecting 4K at some stage? If so, you will be sorely disappointed. Both the PS4 and One right now are struggling to maintain 30FPS in a lot of games. Some games aren't even 1080p. We're not even at 1080p/60FPS and you think they'll be capable of 4K games?

4K media, maybe. 4K games, not a chance. These consoles aren't upto it. Both have poor CPUs (basically laptop/tablet CPUs) with both GPUs being mid range. Be happy to get 1080p/60FPS, if we do. Technology has advanced so much that these consoles are nothing special on the insides.

If you want 4K, you bought the wrong gaming system.

All online stuff is dodgy for the first few days, since it's impossible to prepare properly for server load. For example, World of Warcraft prepared for 6-8m players, and ended up with 10m, bringing the game down for a week.
