Bendtner did sweet f all at Juve, Eboues at a club pretty much guaranteed the title in a league nobody is interested in and Song has also done sweet f all.. RVP carried his club to win the league so fair play to him.

Yeah, they've not really gone on to do that well individually. Song was voted La Liga's worst new signing, along with Modric not so long ago.
Wouldn't say RVP carried us, Drew. :suspect:

Zlatan Ibrahimović reveals the embarrassing music he found on David Beckham's iPod
Here's what the Swedish striker said: “We were looking through his play-list in the dressing room — there was lots of JUSTIN BIEBER, JONAS BROTHERS and SELENA GOMEZ.
“We were expecting some cool English rock bands and hip-hop.
“It is nice to know that even David Beckham doesn’t have good taste on everything.”
Becks will argue that the teen favourites feature purely for the sake of his young kids.

Have just seen this on a United forum:
Pulis looks like that P.E. teacher at your school who thought he was a Premier League manager and so would play 4-4-2 and fill the team with the biggest lads. He would shout and curse a lot, always blame the referee, and get naked in the showers to show he had the biggest cock.

If they get relegated Martinez will leave this season and then most of the squad will want to go as well since he is the only reason most of them have signed and then they'll probably be in League 1 in 2/3 years time which is about standard for their actual fanbase, they'll be in an arkward situation if they get relegated and playing in Europe and the Championship next year, not ideal at all

it's strange, Arsenal are probably the most financially prosperous club in England atm, but whether anything's invested in players remains to be seen... there're a lot of smart boardroom deals and sponsorships - not to mention they pulled off building and moving to a new stadium in the middle of a recession - so it's really impressive in that respect.
It's just really high time we started to reap the rewards of that.
Get rid of Ramsey. He's adorable but I don't care. Get rid of Gervinho. Buy an experienced midfielder or two and let Podolski, Giroud and Walcott rotate upfront. The defence are okay at the moment but could maybe do with a more consistent centre-back, since Mertesacker is very on/off. Vermaelen's the only really dependable one... I haven't heard much of Monreal being any good actually now I come to think of it, but haven't heard any complaints either.
I'm fairly happy with Sczeszny, he's alright... stop letting bloody Mannone have a go though.

agreed on Ramsey and Gervinho.. occasional glimpses of good football but way to rarely, especially with Gerv. Mertesacker and Kos, Kos has been immense at times this season and they've have had a great partnership this season, kept a good amount of clean sheets and been pretty solid, Sagna and Vermaelen have been the weak links in the defence this season and Vermaelen has been forced onto the bench. Monreal has been consistent, no big errors but doesnt get forward as well as Gibbs. Keeper situation is pretty annoying though, Sczeszny is capable of decent saves but has mistakes in him, Monnone too.. wouldnt complain if we bought a new keeper in.
