TAKE THAT'S Mark Owen yesterday spent his last day as a single man partying with his bandmates.

Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald joined Mark, 37, for celebratory drinks and games at historic Cawdor Castle, near Nairn, after spending the night in teepees on the adjoining Drynachnan Estate.

He will tie the knot with actress Emma Ferguson at Cawdor Parish Church today.

The estate - famous for hunting, shooting and fishing - was sealed off yesterday to allow the lads to party away from prying eyes.

A fleet of people carriers headed in and out throughout the day carrying flowers and drinks into the party.

Mark was keen to keep things low-key and, apart from a pile of crowd control barriers at the church, there was little sign that it was about to host a big celebrity wedding.

Former bandmate Robbie Williams is expected to attend and many fans plan to turn up at the church to catch a glimpse of the band.

Locals spoke excitedly about today's wedding though some said they were surprised that it was being held on Remembrance Sunday.

Mark and Emma have two children - Elwood Jack, three, and one-year-old Willow Rose.

Take That singer Mark Owen married his partner Emma Ferguson in the Scottish Highlands this afternoon.

The 37-year-old tied the knot at Cawdor Parish Church in the town of Cawdor, near Nairn.

The couple have two children, toddler Elwood and Willow Rose, who was born last November.

Owen arrived with fellow Take That members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange just after 4pm.

The band stopped to wave to fans outside the church who had waited up to six hours to see them.

BLEARY-eyed Take That stars prayed for the sun to Shine yesterday - as their Scots flight was blocked by fog.
Groggy Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were trying to get home after partying the night away at bandmate Mark Owen's fairytale Highland wedding.

But thick mist stopped their private jet landing at Inverness Airport - and they were instead forced to make a 40-minute minibus dash to catch their plane from an RAF BASE.

Last night, one source said: "They must have only had a few hours' kip. The last thing they needed was their flight getting delayed."

The night before, the boys - whose hits also include Never Forget - had been celebrating with Mark, 37, and bride Emma Ferguson, 33, at a knees-up at luxury Cawdor Castle, Inverness-shire.

Staff had been ordered to serve drinks until 4am. But by 11am weary-looking Gary, 38, Jason, 39, and Howard, 41, arrived at the airport to get their plane back to London.

They were whisked away from fog-bound Inverness just half an hour later and they hastily made arrangements to fly from RAF Lossiemouth.

But not before fan Lynn Chisholm got the greatest thrill of her life by getting her photograph taken with her hero Gary.

Childminder Lynn had waited at the airport with a sign saying 'Please Gary I've waited 15 years to have my photograph taken with you'.

Excited Lynn, 29, from Inverness, said: "It was amazing. He could not be nicer and he gave me a great big cuddle. It has made my year."

It was also confirmed ex-bandmate Robbie Williams did NOT attend the wedding at Cawdor Church, despite rumours he was smuggled in.

A source at the castle said: "Maybe he didn't want to take the limelight from Mark."

Mark-Every day in Take That the first time round there was an itineary,but the iternaries in Asia would be detailed to the last second. With someone as impulsive as Rob it could a recipe for absolute chaos. Jet lag from flying from one country to another was always a bit of a bummer and travelling from England to America to Asia was about as hard as it could get. I can remember we used to fall asleep in interviews,we'd be dropping like flies.

Robbie joins Take That on stage

Robbie Williams has joined his former Take That bandmates on stage at the Children in Need charity concert, but there was no reunion performance.

Take That opened the show at London's Royal Albert Hall before Gary Barlow introduced "old friend" Williams, who then performed solo material.

However, Williams and Barlow were later back on stage singing alongside the show's other artists during its finale.

Sir Paul McCartney and Dame Shirley Bassey were among other performers.

Robbie Williams has said that he feels no bitterness towards his former Take That bandmates after following them on stage at London's Royal Albert Hall last night.

After his old band opened the Children In Need gig with 'Greatest Day', Williams performed 'Bodies' and 'You Know Me' at and later rejoined the group for an all-star rendition of The Beatles' 'Hey Jude'.

Williams told The Sun: "I was tearing up before I came on, knowing what was just about to happen and what the reaction was going to be like.

"We should have milked it for a lot longer. I was trying to call them back and do a bow. It's the first time in 15 years we were together, we should have at least stayed for 15 minutes."

He added: "While they were singing I wanted to grab a mic and start singing too. It would have to have been 'Back For Good'. I'm not nervous around them anymore because we've spent a lot of time around each other now.

"All the bitterness and resentment has gone. We're just left with four lovely lads who I love to pieces. It's total respect now."

Of a future reunion, he confirmed: "The ball is definitely rolling. We don't know how to do it yet, nothing is planned but I'll be keeping the Brits to myself. We'll save it for something special."

Robbie Williams is recording a new album with Take That.


The 'Bodies' singer cried as he was reunited with his former bandmates - Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen - onstage last night (12.11.08) for the first time in 15 years and revealed plans are in place for them to enter the studio together.

He said to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The ball is rolling for a Take That album with me. I was tearing up when I was onstage with the lads."
Robbie joined the group and a host of other stars including Lily Allen to sing Beatles classic 'Hey Jude' - led by the song's original singer, Sir Paul McCartney at London's Royal Albert hall for the charity concert.
Gary - who organised the concert in aid of Children In Need - performed arm-in-arm with Robbie, and said he felt like the old line-up was back together again.

Speaking afterwards, he said: "He was the last one I was hoping to get here. He was the icing on the cake of the whole thing for me.
"When we were all stood in a line we didn't want to leave ... it felt great having him back. It feels like he's back, it does."

Robbie also admitted he wished they could have stayed onstage for longer and sung one of Take That's old hits.

The only other thing I would say is...don't take all the media reports about Robbie being 'reunited' with the boys on stage at face value. I think the media has (as usual) distorted events and placed the emphasis wrongly - the tone was very much that they had buried the hatchet and were friends, but not that they were a unit again. There was no point at which all five of them presented a united front - they could have stood in a group and sung together during Hey Jude, but they didn't; Robbie went and sung with a couple of them individually. Likewise, when Robbie came on after Gary introduced him, Take That were clapping him and presenting him - they were not presenting themselves as a five-piece. Essentially, Robbie was still acting like a solo artist and they were treating him as such. Of course it is still momentous that they have appeared together in public, but...I think the press are making way too much fuss. Really, the spotlight today should be on Gary and what a great achievement this is. At least at the concert he got a decent amount of recognition - Leona Lewis and the Muse frontman both mentioned him and Terry Wogan applauded him at the end; he also had the last word, saying how little work it had been to put the concert together. His modesty is verging on ridiculous...

andyman i'm guessing by what you put you mean fans who been a tt fan since the start well i'm one of them and i know i speak for a huge amount of us older lot (nowt against you laura cos you remind me of me) but we dont want it to happen we wouldnt mind a one off thing perhaps for charity would be good but as good as tt were back then tt and robbie work so much better as 2 seperate acts *is fed up of saying this lately*
