I don't think attempting to educate 7 million people about the harsh reality of London gangs works when it's juxtaposed by by stories about a snake finding its way into Dot's handbag or a pair of insipid cousins babbling some **** about how much they love each other.

Newman's the only producer who made me stop watching for weeks on end. Even Kirkwood's abysmal era never sunk quite as low (Shaggerman aside).
