a top 3 from me this week

Emma and Aljaz, it just looked dreamy, beautiful, no gapping, beautiful flower in vase topline, bit of storytelling, emotion, this was the Viscountess her breakthrough 9 out of 10 from me as well

Karim and Amy, i am a sucker for anything incorporated with dogs, and this salsa was fun, cheesy, feel good 10 out of 10 from me

Will and Janette, NOW that is how you dance contemporary, great choreo from Janette, and yes i was in tears too, what a inspiring story from Will :love: dance wise again a few improvements 9 out of 10

i saw Emma's feet once or twice i think (good she had that long dress though) but the times i saw her feet, were in the fleckrl they looked quite neat

and i also liked the bits where she danced in front of aljaz


Saffron i thought didn't deserve those 10's but it was better than i had expected it to be but more around a 33, 34 score i guess


judges were right about Chris, it was keeping the footwork little steps, and he used half of the floor while with quicksteps you could use the entire floor also this was a great song for quickstep to use more of that floor

he's a learner i appreciate that but he's got a bit more to learn still, the flat-footedness is slowly disappearing so that is a good improvement from early weeks

next week Mike just needs to leave :idc: there is a huge gap between most of others and him, but after that it will be difficult, i can see emma and anton being a goner in one of next weeks to come, she isn't that good as people first thought she would be

chris and karen possibly even though i like him, he still is far behind on others


Lady Emma, i don't have expectations for myself, but she had her wow moment now with viennese waltz, and last week in Jive showed she isn't completely hopeless in faster dances, just needs to work on bringing more energy, flow in those latins

i wanted her to reach Halloween and that is a success :love: also she came into this show as most unknown, and people are liking, loving her personality, even on dailymail i read positivity for her, a breath of fresh air compared to some reality stars :D

Missing training at this stage is not a good idea. You should practice as much as you can.
Because there are so many good dancers and anyone could go.

Compared to other years this Halloween show fell flat! The costumes and makeup were no where near as good as they have been in the past

I'm sad to see Catherine go but I can't imagine she would have improved that much in the show from this point

As for Kevin being partnered with a Alex. I thought this should have been the original pairing from the start. But it Gorka or Graziano should have been allowed to do as they are there as stand ins surely?

Saffron I'm warming to a lot and feel like she is the strongest partner AJ has ever had

Mike for the first time brought more effort to the dancing, and he had fun honestly, and he played the rabbit character perfectly

and this week with charleston i can see him do well at that given he had a decent week 1 jive, and his highest score of series is with his quickstep (which also has few quirky charleston elements tbf), and katya's choreo's of charlestons can be quite good and entertaining

I agree with this and i don’t know why Shirley is getting all the blame when it was also Craig who also sent Catherine home and they are all entitled to their vote and opinion and it’s their job. Cath was not a great dancer.

Lets say we had the same scenario with

Alex scott being in a dance off against Karim. Lets say this was the second time in a row Alex had been in the dance off. Lets say she had been given a higher score than Karim. Therfore the judges save her instead of Karim. Despite Karim having the most potential I very much doubt people would kick off that much because Alex is more likeable and popular

The reason for people kicking off in this situation is because Mike isn't as popular and it's his second time in the dance off but he got a higher score so deserved to go through. People just want their favourite to go through regardless of their dance level or not
