Its got nothing to do with the Dems, they hold three of the four branhes so they're quite happy. Its about holding people accountable. Its not a fool errand but more a way for ambitious lawyers to make a name for themselves. Its a career case for pretty much anyone. It will make a huge difference the moment Trump is out of power. People have very short memories. The masses have always been the same. The moment some spoilt brat isn't spouting lies constantly every day for consumption, people will move on, and the extremists voice will be gone.

Upshot is, i think things need to settle down for 6-12 months and Biden will provide that stability. I wouldn't normally give Joe the time of day, but in these specific circumstances, he is pretty much ideal for the job
